Roberts & Morrow Chartered Accountants have been helping to advise & grow businesses for over 60 years.
In 1951 Don Roberts & Keith Crichton took over as principals of local Armidale firm HG Uther & Co and renamed it Crichton Roberts & Co. Jack Morrow was admitted as a partner in 1954. When Keith Crichton retired in 1957 the practice continued with Don Roberts and Jack Morrow as principals and in February 1963, the firm changed its name to Roberts & Morrow. The firm grew rapidly from there; in January 1979 a branch office was opened in Glen Innes and in 2013 the firm opened a Narrabri office. Most recently in 2016, Roberts & Morrow merged with Tamworth based firm Plante Davis Chartered Accountants. The merged firms bring greater strength and diversity to the local region offering quality specialist services to the combined client base and new opportunities for staff.
Roberts & Morrow has also expanded beyond the local region with established strong client bases in Sydney, Brisbane and the mid north coast of New South Wales. This geographical coverage is achieved through the firm’s continued engagement of the latest information technology allowing full remote access to client systems.
Roberts & Morrow Financial Planning (RMFP) was created in 1987 offering a broad range of financial services including investment reviews, direct shares, Self Managed Super Funds, property & income securities. The experienced RMFS team, led by partner Kyle Pearson, includes financial planners, para-planners and support staff.
Roberts & Morrow Technology (RMT) launched in 2000 and is headed by partner Brad Schumacher. RMT supports many varied businesses state-wide, specialising in IT & software support of accounting firms. This specialisation is a key point of difference between RMT & many other IT providers with RMT having an intimate working knowledge of the challenges of accounting firms. RMT is accredited as a Microsoft Certified Partner.
In 2006 Roberts & Morrow launched an Audit & Advisory Division which is headed by partner Michelle Paull. Having an extensive history in audit, the firm seized the opportunity to create a specialist division offering audit services to new & existing clients along with the provision of high quality advice on business management systems.
